Established in 1874, the Phoenixville Fire Department is a multi-service department that provides fire, rescue, and, EMS services to Phoenixville Borough and the surrounding communities. The Department is staffed around the clock by a dedicated career and volunteer members trained to provide the community with the best services possible. 

The Department operates three companies located throughout Phoenixville Borough to provide the community fire protection services. The three companies are Phoenix Hose, Hook and Ladder Company #1 (Chester County Station 65), Friendship Fire Company #2 (Chester County Station 66), West End #3 (Chester County Station 67).  The Phoenixville Fire Department also works with other fire departments in the area to provide mutual aid services when requested.
