The Phoenixville Fire Department is a multi-service department that provides fire and rescue services to Phoenixville Borough and surrounding communities. The Department is staffed by a combination of career and volunteer firefighters operating out of the Phoenix Hose, Hook & Ladder Co., No 1 on Church Street. The Phoenix Hose, Hook & Ladder Co. was established in 1874 and is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with a Board of Directors made up of Firefighters and Community representatives.
